This is your day... so enjoy. The following list is a guide, not something to be slavishly followed. Add your own personal touches to it.
Make sure to check this program with the Reception Venue, and that the MC
has a copy and keeps all the guests well informed...this will prevent time
loss and guests being concerned with what happens next.
Printed programmes for guests can also be a wonderful guide for the reception
running smoothly.
- Bridal Party Introduction
- Invocation/Prayer
- Toast to the Queen (if you wish to follow tradition)
- Meal begins (Entree course served)
- Toast to the bride and groom
- Fathers response
- Next meal course - again, running in sync with the timing from the chef!
- Toast to the bridesmaids
- Grooms response
- Cake cutting
- Bride & Father Dance, guests join in
- Groom & Mother Dance, guests join in
- Cake is offered around to the guests by the Bridesmaids
- Bouquet Toss
- Groom Takes Garter Off The Bride
- Garter Toss
- Dancing for all to enjoy
- Bride and groom leave - guests form a circle to say goodbye and then form the guard of honour for the bride and groom to pass through on their way to their limousine
- Guest can have another coffee and then thank the parents of the bride and groom and leave
