Selecting
a Ring
Diamonds are known as a symbol of love and commitment
A man gives his fiancé a diamond ring when he asks for her hand in
marriage. Think about how he would feel if he received one on his wedding
day. A diamond wedding band is a great way to show love and commitment reciprocated.
Today's world is all about compromise and shared duties. So why not buy this
special guy a diamond too! A months salary may not be necessary- you will
know that he will cherish it forever.
When shopping for a wedding band or ring, look together in several different jewellers shops. You will see the difference in price from store to store and you will feel the vibes from the right salesperson. Remember, there is a high mark up in most jewelry stores so do not be afraid to let them know how much you like their product and tell them up front what you plan to spend.
Ask the qualified jeweller or goldsmith all about diamonds and gold. If you ask enough questions you will soon get a feel for what is right, and you will then have a basis on which to work when selecting this important piece of jewellery for each other.
Ask for literature on diamonds. The 'C' (cut, carat, color, clarity) factors always come into play, so be prepared to spend a little time learning. That way you will ensure that the investment you are about to make is really secure.
Remember, jewelery stores all have expensive lighting so don't be fooled
by the glow of a diamond. And don't be pressured into making a choice before
you are ready to do so. Keep talking to people until you find the information
that is right for you.
