Your chosen Celebrant needs to:
- Have a voice which will be heard
- Have a caring, pleasant manner
- Possess the professional expertise to perform your ceremony capably
- Dress in a manner appropriate to the occasion
- Be able to give advice on all aspects of your wedding ceremony
In accordance with the Australian Marriage Act, the marriage cannot be solemnised until after one calendar month from the date the authorised celebrant receives the Notice of Intended Marriage form. Celebrants are asked to take bookings sometimes months ahead, so you need to book early to have the Celebrant of your choice!
